Yawn....not a lot to talk about...except dogs

4 miles yesterday...nothing special about it. While sore (a little) it was a run. Not a great run, but a run nonetheless. Am I getting into a rut? Probably, a bit. That's not to say that the luster is off the apple - just that the middle part of my training has gotten a bit predictable. Probably time for a race! How about a 10K on January 31 in the caves? Great idea! More on that later.

Today's rant, however, is about dogs, of all things. Not dogs specifically, but dog owners who refuse to pick up after their dogs. Folks, please clean up after your dogs. Enough said. Next time, it's war...

8 tomorrow and 14 or 16 on Sunday, maybe. I'm actually considering changing my long day to Sunday, to give myself a more evenly spaced week in terms of rest days...any thoughts? At the moment, it's rest on Friday, medium long on Saturday and long on Sunday, with a cross-training day on Monday. I'm thinking about off on Friday, medium long on Saturday, easy and short on Sunday, with my long day on Monday, of on Tuesday and medium long on Wednesday. The problem I'm having is the back to back weekend days of longer runs and an inability to recover fully from Saturday to Sunday.
