Yesterday was sunny, warm, and just a great day to run. Hey, it was a great day to do anything outside.
After 15 minutes on the machine, I spent an hour on the road. A peaceful, effortless hour on the road with no worries, no cares and no stress. Just me, traffic, bad drivers (am I invisible?), and a little bit of music. Seriously, it was a great run yesterday, the kind that makes you want to do it again and again. No endorphins. Just stress free exercise.
I haven't yet talked about goals, and won't this morning, but will soon. Here's a little teaser - are goals, in and of themselves, important, or is a vision of your end-game the motivation that keeps you going? Is strategy as important in running as it is in business? Do you need a "business plan" for your running? Should it be specific, with timelines, checkpoints, and be committed to writing? I'd be interested in your thoughts.
