Cccccccccccold

Today was an easy 3 in the COLD and again, the first 2.999999 was a stiff, sore run. I actually went 3.25 and the last .24000001 was great. Or was it. I always seem to feel better about my runs a few hours after the run. I imagine that's the defense mechanism kicking in, kind of the way nature allows women to bear more than one child. Now before someone thinks I am trying to compare my silly runs with childbirth, back off. I'm doing nothing of the sort. There just seems to be a similar physiological/psychic/psychological/mental reaction. Ok, you win. I'll stop.

Anyway, I feel pretty good about my fitness. My legs ache less after each run but to be honest, I kind of like the minor ache. It makes me feel like I am accomplishing something every day. And isn't that what it's all about?
