And on this day, rest

After 10 miles yesterday, today is kind of a rest day. Actually, it's time to do some cross training, so I spent 45 minutes swimming this morning. It was nothing particularly taxing, no hard breathing, no muscle fatigue...just a simple swim. Mondays seem to be great days to swim since at 6 AM, the pool is empty.

My legs felt good yesterday, after the first 4 miles. The run was REALLY slow, according to plan, but actually enjoyable after the stiffness and ache left my knees and hips. Actually,just my right knee and hip, but that might just become a topic for a future blog. For the time being, it's nothing more than some post-workout stiffness. And post-sleep. And post-sitting on the couch (a good reason not to sit for too long on the couch). And post-no-movement stiffness.

I'm on a roll. Time to go.
