...just what tricks nature is playing on me. It has been cold as can be for the last two weeks, making running difficult, if not impossible. Perseverance never filled my tank but I was able to stay in relatively good fitness during the spell of cold and snow. In fact, I probably over-compensated. So today, it's 45 and a day that I decided to take off. What evil tricks is Mother Nature playing on me? Does she know my of plans and change the weather just to piss me off? Is there a plot afoot to make me want to overtrain?
Monday at 7, Tuesday at 6 and yesterday at 3 has left me incredibly sore - in fact, so sore that I decided to take the day off. I mentioned on another post that the value of rest couldn't be underestimated and now I am going to test that assumption. Plans going forward are 3 tomorrow (Friday) and then a big weekend (6-8 and 10-14, depending on how I feel and whetner I can find enough sidewalk without snow).
Not much else to discuss. It's winter, it's cold, it's damp and it's gray.
