You mean you didn't notice that I haven't posted for almost 2 weeks? I'm hurt. Oh well, that's life, huh?
After my last post, I had a really bad run of around 3 miles in which my knee and IT Band gave me significant problems. Essentially, after virtually any run, I am hobbled for at least a day, from the outside top of the knee up my thigh, sometimes across the front of the thigh and sometimes up the hamstring. It is difficult to describe because the pain seems to move from time to time.
And I know, GO TO THE DOCTOR! It may actually be coming (after taking a few weeks off from running - or at least as long as i can stand). I promise, Sara. And, I WILL run the Chicago half with you, even if I have to do so on crutches.
In the meantime, I plan to spend altogether too much time on the elliptical.
Suggestions (other than see a doc)?
