Too fast, again, today. I'm beginning to think that my "easy, short" days at 9:00 pace probably could be just a bit faster. Maybe I'm babying myself by not running faster on the short runs and then being able to slow down (by necessity) on longer days. Or maybe it's conditioning that's improving.
I mention these times and distances not to pat myself on the back or boast of times but to give some idea of pace and progress.
Tomorrow is another elliptical day, followed by a shorter run on Tuesday. Maybe I'll try to run faster on Tuesday to see what can be expected in the Thanksgiving run. All of the kids running have declared their lack of fitness and their intentions to walk. They'll probably all beat me. Well, not all.....most.
