This is about weather, not running

First, thanks to Dan (Dan who, I don't know, but thanks. Feel free to sign your full name. I'm just glad that there are at least two people, other than family, reading this. Maybe I'll start a giveaway...nah, that's like paying someone to be your friend) for some sound advice about my nips. I am going to get some Body Glide and some Nip Guards today at my local running store.

See the picture above? It's the result of our last snow - another 6 inches. The nice part is that it is cold, REALLY cold, like -16 wind chill cold, and the snow drifted. I do have an admission to make. I pay someone to plow the driveway. Despite being in the best shape of my life, despite having two able bodied sons at home, despite having a wife who would (?) gladly shovel, I pay a guy to come plow the driveway and clear the walk to the front door. Ok, my soul is now cleansed. The plowing occurred at 2:30 AM today and by 10 AM, there was 2 feet of snow that had drifted onto the driveway.

This is the coldest that I have ever been. Honest. Really. Never colder before. Sara, I don't know how you do Chicago.

Running? Not for a long time at this rate. Today is a 3 mile day, so the treadmill will get another workout. After yesterday's 7 and Sunday's 8 on that infernal machine, 3 should be a breeze
